Discover your authentic self and deepen your relationships

"Psychotherapy is a way of feeling more at home with ourselves, our relationships, and our community. As your therapist, I will support you in overcoming any obstacles as we walk the path to your sense of home, together. "
My Approach
Psychodynamic
We would dive deep into the unconscious to understand the root cause of what's bothering you. We would learn to hold emotions--both unpleasant and pleasant--while walking towards accessing and expressing your authenticity.
Existential
& Relational
We would draw upon wisdom from existential schools of thought across different cultures, as and when it is relevant, to broaden our worldview and attitudes towards suffering. We will also explore the feelings that arise in the therapeutic relationship and use that to deepen self-awareness.
Mindfulness
& Process-oriented
We will be attuned towards the present moment, the here-and-now, our body sensations, emotions, and the train of thought, and gradually learn to have a more intentional relationship with it. We will learn to hold suffering with tenderness and savour joy more deeply.
Services
Individual
I provide trauma-informed individual therapy to adolescents, adults, and older folks, dealing with a wide range of issues like anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and relationship issues, to name a few.
Couples
I help couples to communicate better, deal with recurring conflicts, value mismatch, and deepen their emotional and sexual intimacy. We will use techniques from the Imago Method and Attachment theory among others.
Family
Family therapy sessions aim to improve family dynamics, resolve conflicts, and strengthen bonds. By promoting understanding and effective communication, I help families navigate challenges together and create harmonious relationships.
